Tenerife is by far the best place in Europe to invest in property development. It attracts people all year round for short and long term visits, and because of its climate does not have a low season.

The Government in Tenerife have now put a freeze on new developments to ensure the infrastructure of the island is able to keep pace with the demand and growth of development. Only companies which have already been granted planning permission are able to build and complete their projects.

There are currently two developments which offer a good return on investments. The first is currently under construction and is due to be completed by September 2003. Located in the Golf de Sur, it will offer luxurious accommodation, is ideal for the best golf courses on the island, is being built directly on the coast and will have a new marina and man made beach built within its location. Pre-development prices currently start from £80,000 Sterling.

The second development is in its early stages and will offer more upmarket accommodation than is currently available in Tenerife. The plans will include top of the market accommodation, a shopping complex with restaurants, and will have a waterfall as a central feature. Pre-development prices will range between £300,000 - £1,000,000 Sterling.
